Waste & Recycling

Roland Waste Disposal Ground is operated as a Transfer Station. Located on Arctic Road (Road 25 N), 1 mile East of Roland and ¼ mile south. A ramp area has been constructed to facilitate loading into the collection bins. We continue to maintain collection areas for metal, tires, chemical containers, and clean-burn materials (wood/paper products). There is a $5 tipping fee at the gate for large appliances: fridges, stoves, freezers, dryers, washing machines, dishwashers.

Waste Disposal Ground Hours:

• Tuesday: 9:00 am–3:00 pm
• Saturday: 9:00 am–3:00 pm

Household garbage picked up from all Roland and Myrle properties on Wednesday mornings - please have your garbage out on the curb before 8:00am

Village of Roland Curbside Recycling Pickup is Thursdays.  Set out no later than 8:00 a.m.
