Important Notice

In recent months there has been extensive damage to the pumps in our Lift Stations.

This is extremely time consuming for our Public Works employees.

This is a directly caused by flushing inappropriate materials (RAGS) into the sewage pipes.

This costs residents money.

Each incident has cost approximately $20, 000 to repair.

If this continues, town residents could see significant increases on their Tax Bills.

DO NOT FLUSH ANYTHING EXCEPT WASTE AND TOILET PAPER.

What NOT to put down the toilet, drain or garbage disposal

Please pay attention to any drains being plugged with rags in your residence.
