Spreading Out Water Usage

With the dry winter we had, and not knowing what June holds, we would like to take a proactive
approach to ensure we keep our water supply full during peak water use months.

We hope to lessen the strain on our supply during the hot season when water use increases
by spreading water use out more evenly throughout lower usage months.

Peak water use typically occurs mid May until the end of June in our region. By taking a
proactive approach, we hope to keep our system capacity optimal so we can avoid mandatory
water conservation later in the season.

How can you help?

• Fill your pools in increments before pool season.
• Wash your house earlier in the season.
• Spread out landscape watering and begin landscaping project earlier in the
season.
• Consider conservation efforts during peak usage months.
