Emergency Management Organization

In Manitoba, all municipalities are responsible to create an Emergency Plan for their community to be prepared in the event of an emergency. Each year this plan is updated to ensure accuracy and to ensure there are people in place to assist.

Please see attached "Emergency Measures Questionnaire" for each household to fill out an submit to the RM of Roland as soon as possible.

In addition to the questionnaire being filled out, the town of Roland needs volunteers to assist in the case of an emergency.

We are looking for people to volunteer in the following areas:

Transportation and Resources;

Facilty Co ordinator;

Volunteer Co-ordinator;

Emergency Social Services Co-ordinator;

Communications Volunteer;

Public Information Volunteer;

We also need basic volunteers, people to assist in bringing meals, and men/young people/women who want to come and help in whatever way they can.
